The Upper Bhote Koshi run-of-river scheme sits in a steep gorge on the Bhote Koshi, a tributary of the Sun Koshi. GSI designed, supplied and installed the rockfall protection system that shields the project’s infrastructure and people from falling rock.

One of Nepal’s largest hydropower projects, in steep and highly seismic terrain. Above the take-off yard at Gongar, GSI designed, supplied and built a flexible rockfall barrier system as part of the slope stabilization works, protecting the installation and its personnel.
Earth anchors · Landslide countermeasure · Kathmandu
On the main road into Kathmandu, the west portal of the Nagdhunga Tunnel needed a permanent fix for an unstable slope. GSI carried out the west landslide countermeasure works, supplying and installing earth anchors and slope protection, with DTH drilling up to 45 m.
